Pastor Arthur T Dean
II is a native of Fairfax County, Virginia and is
a product of the Fairfax Co. school system. He proceeded
to acquire a Bachelor of Arts Degree from James Madison
University in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
While at James Madison, he was part of the Student
Christian Outreach Ministry, and he served as President
of the Contemporary Gospel Singers during his junior
year. He went on to acquire a Masters Degree in
Psychology from the same institution.
He has served in the capacities of both youth pastor and
associate pastor of Word Ministries. He was licensed and
ordained in the summer of 1998. The Worship Center
Ministers Network has also recognized the anointing and
call upon Pastor Art Dean and he was licensed for the
work of the ministry by their Pastoral Review Board
through their national ministry.
Presently Pastor Art Dean is the Senior Pastor of
Word Ministries Christian Outreach of Harrisonburg
Virginia. He delivers the Word of God with passion,
conviction and clarity so that people are able to
understand what God has always intended for them to have
in their lives. Pastor Dean and his wife Denedriane (Dee
Dee) are the blessed parents of three children: Arthur
III (Tre), Dominique, and Adia.

Co-Pastor Dee Dee is a native of Hampton, Virginia and is
a product of the public schools of the city of Hampton. She also acquired a Bachelor of Science degree from James Madison University. While at
James Madison University, she met her husband, Art. They served together for several years in a student campus ministry and in September of 1993, they were joined in marriage. They began their journey together in ministry right around that time as Youth Pastors at Word Ministries and Co-Pastor Dee also served as a faithful member of the Worship Team. In February 2003, God called Dee Dee to serve as the worship Pastor for Word Ministries. The team has grown with the addition of new members as well as their love for leading the congregation into the presence of the Lord. Dee Dee also oversees the Women's Ministry at Word and has a desire to see women living in victory in area of their lives.
